These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website and the retail and repair services of Smart Pro Phone Repair (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using our Site or services, you agree to these Terms.
Use of the website
You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it. Content on the Site is provided for general information about our products and services and may change without notice.
Repair services
- Independent shop. We are an independent, locally owned repair business and are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Apple, Samsung, Google, or any device manufacturer.
- Estimate & approval. We provide a free, upfront written estimate before any work begins, and we perform repairs only after you approve it. We will not charge for work or parts in excess of the estimate without your prior consent.
- Invoice. On completion you receive an itemized invoice describing the work performed and the parts supplied, as required of registered service dealers under California law.
- Parts. Depending on your device and availability, repairs may use OEM (original equipment manufacturer) and/or high-quality aftermarket parts. We will tell you which we are using before the repair, and disclose any used or rebuilt parts.
- Back up your data. You are responsible for backing up your device before service. While most repairs (such as screens or batteries) do not affect data, we are not responsible for any data loss that may occur during repair.
- Uncollected devices. Please pick up your device promptly after the repair is completed. Devices left uncollected for an extended period may be subject to storage fees as permitted by law.
Warranty
Repairs are backed by our 90-day warranty. The warranty covers the replaced part itself against defects under normal use — if the new part fails on its own (without physical damage), we will repair or replace it at no charge during the 90-day period. The warranty does not cover water or liquid damage, drops, impact, cracked or broken screens or glass, or any new physical or accidental damage that occurs after the repair, and it may be voided by tampering or by third-party repair after our service. Except as expressly stated, services and parts are provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law, and nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you have under California law (including the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act where applicable).
Retail purchases
Accessory prices include any applicable California sales tax (tax is included in the price rather than added separately at the register). Please review our Return Policy for returns and exchanges.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Smart Pro Phone Repair is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Site, products, or services, including data loss. Our total liability for any claim relating to a repair or product will not exceed the amount you paid us for that repair or product. Some limitations may not apply to you to the extent prohibited by California law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Sacramento County, California.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
